For this exhibition Jayne spent a year working closer to home. ‘Outside -In’ is a body of work which reflects the experience of an artist working in a pandemic. Constrained by the limitations of travel and unable to make journeys further afield, Jayne has instead focused on those places more familiar to her; the East Lothian landscape, St Abbs, the Borders and revisting archive material from past journeys to Skye and the Highlands. This new body of work also includes ink drawings, observational studies based on her daily walks.
