I had this photograph in my studio of some fisherman's huts that I took in St Abbs in 2020. I was drawn to the image because I loved all the chaos of the piles of rope, lobster pots and buoys. The colours and textures really appealed to me and this is the essence of what I wanted to capture in the drawing.
